Blue Mountains Run, Sunday 24th June 2012

All is progressing well for our June event in the Blue Mountains.
The cinema proprietor has procured the rights to screen "Kitty and the Bagman" from the National film archives in Canberra and reserved the cinema for entered car event people only for Sunday 24th June, 2012. Screening time to be advised.
The buffet lunch venue has been booked and confirmed and a variety of menus have been put forward for final selection.
A damage free tilt tray tow truck has been booked for the event to act as 'tail end charlie' and assist where necessary if vehicles have difficulty in reaching the event destination.
As the event is prepaid, tickets for the buffet lunch and cinema entry will be provided with a run sheet on the morning prior to departure. he local chamber of commerce have welcomed our visit and agreed to look into providing a person or persons to watch over the vehicles whilst we are at lunch and in the cinema.

The Austin 7 club have elected to have a weekend away and those members that won't be joining us at the start will stay and co-ordinate parking for us on arrival.
Two vehicles from the 1983 movie have confirmed they will be present on the day. A 1924 Vauxhall 14/40 sedan and a 1924 Dort Tourer.
The film will be precluded by a cartoon. We are hoping for Mr. MaGoo.
A movie poster is in the planning to help create interest from the general public for the old car movement and promote the 4 clubs. This will be distributed to local places of interest and the media.
We are encouraging people to attend in period dress 20's to 30's style if they would like to.
